UEMI’s passionate desire is to be used by God to change nations.
A disaster changed founder John Peter Kirubagaran’s life. While working as a salesman for a paint company, he had a motorcycle accident and reached death’s door. “Spare me, Lord, and my life will be yours,” he cried desperately.
God spared him.
UEMI was born.
UEMI or United Evangelical Mission of India was conceived as a practical dream. To win India for Jesus. Soul by soul, one district at a time. As he prayerfully planned what was a mission impossible, John Peter Kirubagaran began to see an actual picture come into focus in his mind’s eye, like a snapshot of the future. A starving nation fed with the never-hunger-or-thirst-again food that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Like the Lord, Kirubagaran started out on his ambitious Kingdom endeavor with twelve co-workers. The grace of God came atop the moral and financial support of his relatives and it was not long before the practical dream became an evident reality.
