United Public School (UPS) is a UEMI venture that integrates the underprivileged children with the privileged. John Peter Kirubagaran, the Director of UEM founded the school in 2001.

In 2001 there were 42 students on the roll. In 2007 there are 431 students studying in UPS.

There are 21 qualified teachers striving to make the students live up to their full potential.

During the year 2006-2007, UPS was upgraded from standard VI to VII.

The school is gearing up to meet the standards of the board of the Indian Certificate of School Examination (ICSE).
At UPS in 2006-2007
This academic year witnessed numerous activities and competitions at UPS. The students made the school proud by winning prizes at the inter school cultural competitions. The school Choir enthralled the audience with its performance during the Annual Prize day, Annual Sports Day, and during Christmas. Martha Huls was a great blessing as she devoted her time and taught at the UPS.
Run to Win: United Public School Annual Sports Day
UPS celebrated its 5th annual sports day on 9th February, 2007. Mr. Akash Ryall, the Principal, Bethany High School, Koramangala, Bangalore, was the Chief Guest. In his address Mr. Ryall lauded the efforts of UPS in providing quality education at a low cost especially when education is commercialized in India. The event began with a performance by UPS band followed by an impressive march-past. The students participated in different sporting events with gusto. Mrs. Rajani Alexander, the Headmistress of UPS gave the welcome address. Mr. Alexander the treasurer of the UEM, Mr. Mark Sagayam, Management Committee member of United International School and Mr. Jacob, board member of UEM gave away the prizes to the winners. Bro. John Peter Kirubagaran in his speech encouraged the students to stay focused in life on the goals God has set before them. The programme ended with the furling of the school flag and a rendition of the National Anthem.
