The purpose of the CTC is to train national lay leaders of the Church in evangelism and church planting, while empowering them socially and economically so that they can create a chain reaction in empowering the grass roots to bring about spiritual and socio-economic transformation.

Trainees are equipped, encouraged and empowered with:

	The Word of God
	A vocational skill guaranteeing financial security
	A profession that will provide security
	A method through which direct links with other locals can be established
	Regular openings to be personally involved in practical community work right across the range
	The experience needed to successfully interact with those around them in the spiritual, social, economic and psychological realms of individual and community life, with the view to impact the given society for Christ
