Is it really possible
…to transform an entire community?
A community is on way to being transformed in Minawati

Transformational streams are becoming the quickest and most effective route to the healing of nations. All local communities are faced with crippling anxieties caused by a fickle, interconnected, self-absorbed and increasingly complex society. Without developing new capacities for transformation, communities will continue to be imprisoned in the spirit-sapping existing ways. UEMI believes that incremental change and the old ways of doing things no longer work and what exists may well be counterproductive because people have a natural tendency to avoid deeper causes and issues. Currently, UEM has spearheaded not less than a dozen COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION CENTERS (CTCs) which have provided wonderful opportunity for local citizens who have been yearning for the Gospel to bring life to their humdrum existence.

A COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION CENTER (CTC) is a Kingdom centered, Biblical and vocational style training center, which trains men and women of Christ to become agents of transformation right in the place where they live.  The CTC has been birthed in a philosophy primarily based on the Biblical view of the Kingdom.  By coming from heaven to earth, Jesus Christ brought the Kingdom of God into the here and now of the world; he preached it and lived it out which is what impacted humanity and continues to do so, centuries after His earthly walk. The Kingdom of God , that Jesus preached and demonstrated in His life, serves as a blueprint that shapes UEMI’s efforts in the CTC.

In short, a CTC is a Bible School , Vocational Training Center and a Mission Base all rolled into one.
