In Orissa, children were being sold for a bag of rice…some were being used as human sacrifices to appease angry gods…young girls were being hired out to brothels…these are just some of the incidents that were witnessed by UEM Founder Kirubagaran, whose heart broke as he remembered how the Lord loved little children.
From pain often comes passion – UEM’s new project for children was launched with burning determination. Focus group: Orphans, semi- orphans, abandoned, destitute and the street children within the age group of 3 to 8 years.
