Community Transformation Centers

Among those seen in the picture are twelve chosen by UEMI who have undergone the 2-year Community Transformation program which will enable them to bring about major change in their home state – Andhra Pradesh

The training is fast becoming contagious! These are two groups that have graduated from the Bangalore and Punganoor CTCs

Christ “became human and lived among us" (John 1:14 ). As believers who have had a deep experience with the living and loving God, we are led to win souls for Christ by transforming the lives of those who do not yet know Him.

Transformational streams are becoming the quickest and most effective route to the healing of nations. All local communities are faced with crippling anxieties caused by a fickle, interconnected, self-absorbed and increasingly complex society. Currently, UEMI has spearheaded not less than a dozen COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION CENTERS (CTCs) which have provided a wonderful opportunity for local citizens who have been yearning for the Gospel to bring life to their humdrum existence.

Without developing new capacities for transformation, communities will continue to ‘make do’ with spirit-sapping existing ways. We believe that incremental change and the old ways of doing things no longer work and what exists may well be counterproductive because people are allowed to bypass the real issues.
