Opportunities

The government officials have recognized the relief work and now welcome the prospect of developing the children of the villages.
The people of the villages are very receptive and open to the development of the children.

Before going to school, the children gather every morning at the Community Center and nutritious food is provided for them. They are also provided with a nutritious meal for evening after school hours. Evenings are crowded with play time, tuitions, recreational and moral stories and activities. The children go home after this and stay with their parents. Single parents and those orphaned will stay in the community with friends and relatives.

UEMI’s rehabilitation program for children aims at bringing warmth and hope into their lives by displaying to them that they are precious.
